SO CAL Edison bill pay options allow you to pay Southern California Edison bill online or by offline methods. Moreover, you can also configure Auto Pay to completely omit manual bill payment by using your SCE account login. If you don’t have an account you can use the Guest payment service available for users with no SCE portal account.

Online Payment
To setup this feature you have to login to your account thenfrom the billing and payments section change your preferences. You have tosign-up for the feature and once the process is completed you are eligible tomake payments instantly.
If you don’t have an account sign-up for one with an email address and your SCE customer number available at your paper bill.
Auto Pay
You can setup this feature to automatically pay your billwith a given finance source. System will automatically deduct the total dueamount after ten days of bill generation. To sign-up for this option you haveto change your preferences from ‘Billing & Payment Preferences’ and selectAUTO-PAY from here. Remember that you can only use 1-feature from onlinepayment and auto-pay at a given time. Both features are not available forsimultaneous use.
Pay as Guest
Don’t have an online account with SCE? No worries, they havea cover for you. Customers can pay bills using ‘GUEST PAYMENT’ feature. Justyou will need a checking account details and that’s all pay your bill withthese details.
Pay with Debit/Credit card
This option is only available for residential customers. Moreover,you will also have to pay an additional fee of $1.65 on one transaction. Thisservice will redirect you to JP Morgan Chase portal where you will proceed withyour card details. Visa and MasterCard are accepted.
Home Banking
At your bank you have to select SCE as a designated payee ifoption not available you can ask your bank to enroll you for that. Payments arenormally received at SCE within 2-5 business days. Moreover, SCE don’t chargeany fees on this service.
Pay by Mail
This option is also free to use SCE don’t charge any feesover using this feature. You can use this feature if you don’t want to useonline options.

You can also pay by using ACH/EFT transfer protocol, youmust be a commercial customer to use this feature. Your bank will send theremittance by using an EDI 820 file formatted in CTX or CCD+.
Level Pay Plan
With this feature one can distribute the cost of electricityin 11 equal installments over the year. This doesn’t reduce the cost of service– you have to pay the balance at the end. This service is only available toeligible customers.
